I fought hard against the Kindle when it first came out because I love the feel of cracking open a new book and feeling the crisp pages. I guess technology finally has me in it's grasp, because now I think the idea of having any book you want at your fingertips at any time is amazing.

ReplyDeleteI have a Kindle, and I love it. As an English teacher, I was such a technology snob. Really though, there is nothing like being able to get a book WHENEVER I want. The nearest bookstore is about 45 minutes away and they may or may not have what I want.

I love my Kindle. Hubby bought me one for Christmas .. my only problem is that some of the books that my book club reads, arent in Kindle formats.. so I still ended up buying the books.. BUT, there is still plenty of good kindle reading out there.. Its a pretty nice gadget.

ReplyDeleteDana - That's what eventually won me over as well. Sometimes I'll see a great review for a book, and I'm not able to get to the bookstore to buy it.
ReplyDeleteTotally - Lucky girl! That is a good point. I guess there are still a lot of books that aren't available on the Kindle.
